“Your life’s Epilogue should be of the highest quality.”

Inspiration

“Our vision for Epylog was born out of a passion for our older generation and the wisdom we can all learn from each of them as they share their life lessons and experiences with us. A number of years ago, I was fortunate to create a video interview of my paternal grandmother at the age of 90. Our amazing interview shed light on an incredible life journey from the Orange groves of Riverside, California to Stanford University to the calm waters of Balboa Island, and finally up to the beauty of Piedmont in Northern California.”

“She had a front-row seat to the maturation of the Industrial Age and its transition to the Computer Age as the wife of one of Henry J. Kaiser's Kaiser Industries' top 5 corporate lawyers and member of his inner circle. Every Friday evening Henry Kaiser and his top Lieutenants would stop by my grandmother and grandfather's Piedmont home to enjoy quality scotch and cigarettes and banter about the latest corporate happenings. The insights shared during this interview were astounding and the ability to honor and respect her full life was an incredible life experience for me personally. The Epilogue, or final chapter, of everyone's life, should be of the highest quality.”

“While Co-Founder Caleb Endicott and I were working in a retirement communities for clinical research studies with technological products, we realized how much the residents were struggling and frustrated with their devices.”

“When I carved out extra time to help them learn their new phones, watches, and products, I saw how it completely changed their lives.”

💛

“Helping people in retirement communities with technology made them feel so much happier, more empowered, and more easily able to stay in touch with distant relatives and loved ones. Residents who hadn’t spoken much before began finding things in common. They discovered they could enjoy sending photos, using Facebook and sharing updates with loved ones. As their curiosity grew, so did their comfort—technology began to feel simple to use and surprisingly fun. Some even began tracking their health data and emailing it to their doctors - finding new ways to stay engaged and informed.”

“Epylog’s Video Learning Library was born out of our frustration trying to find helpful how-to videos. Most were painfully long, hard to follow, or dry and disengaging. We wanted to create something better—short, clear, and enjoyable videos designed specifically for seniors. They’re easy to watch, easy to revisit, and designed for seniors to learn comfortably at their own pace, on their own time.”

“I believe that one of the reasons America is so challenged today is because we throw our older and wiser generations by the wayside as if they are a burden.

Epylog is all about vitality and quality in life, every day. We are here to help every Epylog member along their individual journey.“
